Subject: University of Faith, Oklahoma Starts Football in 2015

http://universityoffaith.weebly.com/athletics.html

Another branch from College of Faith, Arkansas was Memphis.
University of Faith Florida
College of Faith- Charlotte.

I think I read somewhere that they will open up schools in Alabama, Louisianna, Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky and Missouri. Over reaching, but if they do get more schools opened? They could have their own little conference as ASCAA which is the same initials as American Soccer Coaches Athletic Association.

Life started as a Chiropractic School in 1974. They Have a good athletics program. they've never had football, and i doubt they'll add it. I don't see why Life was brought up.

While researching the various "College of Faith" football teams recently I happened upon this interesting thread:

Yeah. I am on there pointed the guy who started that reddit post to here when we were talking about these schools, and the thread that we talked to a couple of guys claiming to be part of the school in Memphis. Now in West Memphis. Some very interesting facts came up in the discussion section. The Charlotte based school is not recognized by the state. There seems to be something very shady going on with these schools. The starting QB last year for Charlotte had stats in the same season for being a high school player. How can he have stats for high school and a college in the same year?

Texas Southern is slated to take on this Oklahoma team this year.

I'm glad to see that we were not the only ones puzzled by this mysterious team. Looks like we were ahead of the pack by a couple of years.

So many questions about College of Faith but I think the biggest - by far - is how do well-established schools like Texas Southern, Davidson, West Alabama, Arkansas-Monticello, etc. justify scheduling them?

If anyone has additional information, I would appreciate clarification of the following:

Did the West Memphis, Arkansas 'College of Faith' team play just for one year (2012)?

Where was the 2013 team of the same name based, and what nickname(s) did they use?

The reddit thread I mentioned above notes a "University of Faith" based in Florida - did a team of that name play any games in 2014, in addition to the "College of Faith" (Charlotte NC) that played a few games?

(Some of this is probably covered in that reddit thread but I was trying to avoid reading through 700 messages)

From what I can gather, there's some sort of religious exemption to state recognition/certification that these "College/University of Faith/Live/God's Chosen" schools are exploiting to pull off what appears to be a scam.

University of Faith (FL) started in 2014. Their nickname is the Glory Eagles.

College of Faith, West Memphis only played in 2012. They were the Warriors.

College of Faith (Charlotte) started in 2013. Their nickname is the Saints

It seems all this started when Lumbuth shut down. Lumbuth were known as Eagles. Shepherd Tech Club football team. The school was known as Eagles for their team.

College of Faith started with 2 addresses. The Sheperd Tech buildings in Memphis which seems they bought the buildings and everything including football equipment and all that, but no class rooms. And the West Memphis address.

ASCAA web site listed that the Associations address is in West Memphis.

Now with Lumbuth and Sheperd Tech (Sheperd Bible) were called Eagles and now University of Faith in Florida are known as Glory Eagles.

This is information from the Tampa Bay Times about the U-Faith Glory Eagles football team:
http://www.tampabay.com/news/education/college/at-college-footballs-lowest-rung-games-are-matter-of-faith-and-creative/2204711
This is also the only place I found that hints of a helmet design for the team. Their athletic site lists a schedule as well:
http://www.universityoffaithfl.org/athletics.html
...but it's suspect since there are too many bye weeks and all their games are away games except the finale against another Faith-based college (the unrecognized North Carolina location).

http://www.centralinternationaluniversity.us/?page_id=398

Also no affiliation to NCAA, NAIA, JUCO, USCAA and NCCAA at all.

http://www.centralinternationaluniversity.us/

The campus or school looks like being run out of a business building like you see in the downtown area. The website looks like similar how the Faith schools are set up. Could this be another branch of College of Faith to try to make the schools less confusion?

Just read earlier that they are a spin off from College of Faith. This is the 5th school. NAIA and NCCAA both put their foot down and said the games with these schools do not count as a win along with playing club teams. That means football and basketball. Thomas said that if the NCAA and others do the same thing? They have 10 schools of Faith to open, and add any other rejects like Central International and even Zoubida Cole.

And, yet, the NCAA is still allowing their institutions to play these fraud schools. It's an embarrassment which only undermines the integrity of D2 athletics.
