Subject: Alabama helmets of 1969

During the year of 1969, college football's centennial season, the University of Alabama had the number 100 on BOTH sides of their helmets. I have a video tape of the 1969 game of Alabama vs. Ole Miss from that year, plus I attended that game and I can positively say that the 100 decal was on both sides of the helmet. The number was crimson in color and on the white helmets that were also worn that year, the football was crimson and the 100 was white. The only proof I have is from my memory of saeeing these helmets while attending the games.
