It's just another example of JJ being a bitter old man.

I guess he doesn't realize that Duke has its pick of McDonald's All-Americans every year. Sure, it's a step up in competition for Valpo, but it wasn't a total embarrassment. There have been worse defeats (last year at Purdue comes to mind), but they'll bounce back.

Playing those kind of games is a great experience for the Valpo kids. I don't think they walked out of there hanging their heads, JJ.

I guess maybe you don't like taking the jabs from your East Coast "elite" buddies about being a Valpo grad, but you can take your grumpy old man attitude and shove it up your ass.
