Partly right '89. My reference to the "flyover states,"is personal.I literally had to hitch hike from N.J. to Valpo and back twice during my tenure there. Old Rt# 30 to the PA turnpike (the Indiana and Ohio turnpikes were non-existant)Usually took 24 hours or so, and I remember getting stuck in Beaver Dam,Ohio for 6 hours one cold night in December '52. Hence my pledge to flyover those states in the future. Now you know the "true" story. I guess I won't be able to further bait you, rlh and others with my "fly over " put downs. Shucks! I have gotten tickets to the Duke game on 02-26, my wife and I will be there. Will any posters (you, rlh, Terry D. Mo.Valpo,others), from the rlh or OU boards be there?
