I only go to the ORU and OU boards, but the regulars on these boards know me to be a selective poster so they don't get too worked up about my presence. For the record, I have read every one of your posts so my comments weren't in any way out of context or missing some kind of privileged perspective. The Grizzlies have been a huge disappointment; you're grumpy. I get it.

What I don't get it why your interest begins and ends with the Grizzlies. What about their rivals? If you understood what the word provincial meant, you would have called my "provincial baby talk" phrase an apt one rather than a forty-dollar one. Instead, you are puzzled by why a poster from a rival team would appear, as if from thin air, on "your" board a few days before a contest between both teams. And don't talk to me about how I express myself; you, who have come from the murky depths of the Grizzlies losing streak to yack incessantly about what's wrong with the Grizzlies (which, I must say, has been entertaining and usually spot on).

I certainly wasn't offering my "better shot selection" comment as insight, but I definitely didn't agree with your idea that the Grizzlies have put themselves in a position to run out of gas come tourney time if they turn things around now as the result of improved effort. This is pathologically grumpy baby talk; most of the teams are making the final push so they'll all be tired.
