Exactly! For me, I would rather face, as a potential 2 seed (Valpo), any other team than facing OU as a potential 7 seed. Even if OU ends up as an 8 seed, whichever team is the 1 seed has a better chance of being eliminated by OU than they ever had before against Chi St. of old. My point is that OU has the potential and talent to beat anybody anytime. Chi.St. never had that in the past. It was a cupcake game and every team in times past longed to be the one seed just to face ch.st. in the first round.
The parity in this conference is much greater this year than ever before and I expect a lot of surprises come tourney time.
