Piggot is your 5th leading scorer, and doesn't make a huge impact anywhere else on the stat sheet. She's a good player, and a vital cog to OU's attack, but she doesn't mean what Stangler means to VU. If you were to take away Batcha instead of Piggot in the second game, the absences are comparable.

I could come back and say "if VU plays to their potential, they're 2-0 on the season." We could say that all day, and we could both potentially be right.

You guys were healthy during the first meeting, and Valpo wasn't, missing Meredith Baugher.

Oakland is a good team that will have a good shot to win the Mid-Con tourney. But you're not getting a good seed. You're going in as a 15 or 16, and will run into a top ten team. On their court. (what happened at marquette, not even a top 25 team?) Winning a tourney game is not something I would bank on.

Yes, there are always chances for upsets (although not nearly the chances that present themselves in the men's tourney) so it would be possible for OU to win in the NCAAs. Not probable.
