I would like to say this: no one can ever replace anyone. You can never replace a Sarah Judd, a Katie Wolfe, a Mike Helms, a Brad Buddenborg, a Jason Rozycki, Champagne Twins, Mike Thom, and the list goes on. To be fair, no player can ever be replaced or meet up to another. Judd was a GREAT basketball player. To compare anyone on the team to Judd would be unfair because Judd is one of the all-time Women's Greats. She goes to a majority of the games though. I do think that this team is a little better than the team with Wolfe and Judd, only because of experience and such depth. When Wolfe and Judd were on the team together in 2002, the only "stand-out players" at the time were Judd, Wolfe, Clint, and Kipp. Batcha was I believe a freshmen so was still growing, many of them were still growing but learned. Now we have a ton of depth and great talent. I do believe this team is better due to depth and such young talent. This team is worth spending what is it, $2-$5 for a ticket? They are worth your money. They lost to the ranked 20th team in the nation by 8 as their FIRST GAME of the season, and had I believe 3-4 players injured. Now, they have the whole team back so they have even more depth. To compare anyone to Judd though, not possible. Not only was Judd one hell of a defensive threat, but she was also one heck of an offensive threat. I don't know if you know this, but Judd had one of the highest 3-point percentages and she was a post player! If I had to compare her though, I would say Batcha is a defensive Judd, and Wilson/Hafeli is an offensive Judd.
