Subject: Craft Show Report & Pics

This was a very small show .There were several big shows around the area.There was`nt alot of people and the ones that were there were very carefull as to what they bought.
There was alot of table runners, purses, hand made baskets by a Darling 96 yr old man. I`ve bought several of his baskets over the years !

This is the other side of the table.

On the other side of me was a lady who had ribbon barretts
and Christmas ball ornaments & tabacco stick ladders. I`ve wanted on for a while now (ladder )but did`nt want to spend $10.They had a raffle table where they grouped items together.Oh, there was a lady that had really neat windchimes made out of kitchen things.I wanted one of those too but $20.00.You had to give them someting from your booth possibly 20.00 worth.I gave my witch feet pot with a mum.I bought 2 tickets.I waited till everything was in its group. Well my pot, the ladder, & windchime was in a group with a pair of earrings ,a halloween bear & a nightlight. I put both tickets in my group .I won !!!! I was soooo happy ! I never win anything ! Life is good today ! I got to see several crafters I never get to see, made a little money, and won a great prize !

Julie, your setup looks lovely.
Everything is set out well, no over crowding, neat tidy, easy to see everything, good packaging.I especially like the stands for your gingers, lifts them us and makes them so much easier to see and appreciate. All your crafts look great.
Very well presented and inviting.

Thank You ! Sometimes I think WHY ,why do I do this ???
Then I realize, I just love it ! I love the people and it just amazes my what people come up with. The lady across from me had beautiful table runners & placemats for the table in quilt patterns I bought a set years ago.They are the blue & white ones in some of my pictures.There were crochet afghans that were just beautiful.Aprons ,lots of aprons ! I thought of Darlene.

Julie,
I am so glad you were indoors today, it was windy and cool here!
You display looks so good! I had been thinking of making the yoyo lollipops yours look good, I forget what your gingers were made from last year thought of making some from sandpaper!
I am trying to come up with some things only doing three shows, enough for the economy I think! You meet a lot of nice people at shows and I have made lifelong friends crafting!

Thank You very much grandmabonnie ! I know you do lots of shows. I wish I could have done as good as you at the fair I did in my area.I follow you at HGTV...My friend makes the neck coolers in Ky and does well with them here.

hahaha - I think I've been at voy longer than I have at HGTV - just not as vocal... lol I just bragged about you and your displays at HGTV - How long have you been doing shows? You really do a great job on your displays - people don't like flat displays - you do it perfect - Lif me - I bet you are always on the look out for new and different ways to show your beauties...

OMG ! Are you sure you don`t know me ???lol... Everywhere I go i`m always looking.I hope to one day have a setup I love ,but then what fun would that be !? I love CJ`s setup with the steps ! Every setup is different tho.
When i`m outside in the tent i`m ok with fall and spring.
We were`nt allowed to have anything on the floor at the show Saturday so I had to go up !
I want to get the table skirts. I don`t sew so I need to get someone to make me some.I sometimes use the plastic ones but when the wind blows so do they.

Julie, I love all of your craft items. Do you have a picture of the tobacco stick ladder? I don't believe I have ever seen one of those; or, if I did, I didn't know what it was. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
