Subject: Happy News!!!

I know Idon't post much here, but am here all the time. BUT, I had to let everyone know that my NEW granddaughter is here...Sophie Lyn....she came on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 11oz....She was welcomed by her big sister and brother and the family is all doing well. My son thinks he can rest now that his wife isn't pregnant anymore...lol...little does he know it's only gotten worse!! Hope ya'll have a great day...I know I'm going to. Hugs to all...Kathy

All I can say after congratulations is: Now let the fun begin. If this is your first be prepared for a "life altering experience", however if she is one of many just have a blast with her. So happy for you and do envy you..... this from a GM of 11 and GGM of 3 more. Norma

Thanks Julie....You know how rough things have been for the last 3 mos....still no income....BUT babies make a bright spot.
Thanks Norma....this is my son's third and my 4th now there are 2 boys and 2 girls...and I agree...I'm having a blast being a GM...I can play and then give them back...lol Hugs...Kathy

Gosh you don't know how lucky you are or maybe you do. Your son should know how much work a baby is if he has had some already. I am so happy for you all and I like the name.

Thanks Linda..yes, he has two others ... a girl, 5 and boy, 2...They are blessed and so am I...It's all work...even after they grow up ..lol. Hugs, Kathy

Thank you Annie and Patty. Went to see the little darling tonight and she is just as precious as she was on Wednesday. Little sister is taking good care of her, but big brother says to take her back...lol...he's not quite 2 yet...Hugs, Kathy

Thank you Bernadette....well, my latest effort has been making the fringe tied blankets and although using fleece in Texas can be warm...I made her a "small" one for the car seat and a small pillow, also tied...and then a couple of simple flannel ones for just keeping the air off ... for the other 2 I have also made Christmas ornaments every year and so now I get to come up w/ a new one for Sophie. I also made banks for the other 2, so that is on my "to do" list.... Maybe I should get busy on that...lol...Hugs, Kathy
