Subject: What has been happening in my life


Hi ladies. On 27th September I left with a group of 50 people on a coach trip to the Australian state of Tasmania.
To get there we travelled across Bass Straight overnight on a ship / ferry.
Unfortunately on that night there were 100 kilometre winds & it was the scariest night of my life.
It also resulted in me being thrown against a hand rail resulting in a rib injury, which appears to be going to take a long time to heal However I was determined that it would not spoil my holiday.

The returntrip on the ship however was very calm. The 11 days spent in this beautiful place were wonderful,it is mountainous & similiar to New Zealand. The history is all about the convicts who were sent out from England for very minor offences.

On the way home, we received word that our first grandchild had been born 2 weeks early, a boy.
So time since has been spent in support of the nervous new parents

congrats gma and hope you heal quickly those ribs can really hurt and watch that you don't get pnemonia set up in them so glad you had a nice trip back

Sorry you had a rough ride on your trip. Hope your ribs will heal real soon and you will be feeling much better. Congratulations on your new Granson too!

Hi Fay, what wonderful and exciting news.

Are you in much pain? Hope that your rib heals quickly and does not interfere with your cuddling.
How cold and wet was Tassie during your stay?
Did you get to enjoy the beautiful spring flowerings?

Thank you ladies
Weather was good, we went to some parts of Tasmania that has rain for 300 days of the year, so we were lucky that in 11 days we had only half a day of rain & 10 minutes of hail
