Subject: I reached 70

Good morning, it is 6.30am here in South Australia on Wednesday
Thank you all for your birthday wishes. I had a wonderful 3 days, family party on Saturday, Grandchild time on Sunday & then yesterday,the actual day. lunch with Phil before he went to work & last night take away with Bruce, Sandra & Peter. I thought reaching 70 was crap until I remembered that some of my friends did not make it that far. I have an e reader to learn how to use. How hard can it be ?? Says I, whose technical knowledge stops at a can opener. Happy week.

Belated happy birthday. It sounds like it was wonderful for you. I've got you beat....my 75th is coming up in Sept. and hubby's 80th is in May.

Hi Fay~

You certainly did have a nice birthday with your family...nice to hear of the festivities.

I was glad to hear you made it to 70 and also that Linners is approaching 75 this Sept. and her husband's 80th is coming this May.

Now I don't feel so bad as I'll be turning 69 in Sept. and my husband is going to be 72 this coming Dec.

We are all so lucky to be reaching these "ripe old ages" and hope to have many more "Birthday's" to come!
