What is your favorite, fail-proof way of cooking a tasty, moist turkey?

We have found that this way makes the most moist turkey. We boil the giblets & save the broth. We add a couple sticks of butter to the broth & baste the turkey often. The bird is put upside down on a rack in an enamel roaster. My son likes to baste it about every half an hour. We put it upside down so the juices run into the breast. The juices just run when you cut it. (((hugs)))

I too cook it upside down but I also use a turkey roaster to free up my oven for other things. LOVE my turkey roaster...
