Subject: need funny idea for tube socks

I've written a Christmas poem for our Christmas party this weekend and a line in it says the tube socks hung empty, no candies or toys. I don't think just giving tube socks is funny so I want to try to come up with something funny about it to use. For example a line says "to the "peep hole" he ran to see who was there.... I plan to give a box of Peeps marshmallows. and a line that says, the postman had handfuls and bagfuls of bills, bill after bill after bill they came.
So for the bills I made several copies of a picture of a guy named Bill in our group. Well, I think these things are funny. Could someone help me with the tube socks

The only funny tube I know is toilet paper tube - maybe gather it at the top and bottom or something along those lines...

Thank you Grandma Bonnie. Both you and SueZQ had the idea of using a toilet/paper towel tubes. I can play off that.
