Subject: Continuing with the FORD story...

There is going to be a car show in a nearby town, featuring all Fords. DH was telling our other son about it, that is was free, etc. So DS pipes up with, "Gee, Dad, I don't know if we can afFORD it." See what I have to put up with? *wink* (((hugs)))

Hi Jazz,

I'd like to go to that Ford Car Show...I could drive my 1988 Ford EXP as "Bessie" got her Antique License Plate in January 2015. Bessie is now 27 years old... and kept in the garage. Bessie was on a Ford Calendar too. I won't part with her...she's a keeper from the day we bought her back in March 1988. Bessie is still like "Brand New."

Glad to see your posts on FORD!!

Hugs- Joann

Thank you all for being loyal Ford people! My husband used to work for Ford Motor Company. He hired in when he was only 19 yrs old and retired from it before he was 50!

When we heard about Joann's car, "Bessie", they checked where my husband told them to look for a certain code and found out that a window of "her" was made here in Tulsa!

The Ford plant has since closed here a few years after my husband retired and they have taken out a lot of the plant. Just looks so sad now to see where the plant used to stand and there's just nothing there. You used to could see the big incinerator stacks from a long way away. They're gone now.

But, again, thank you for being loyal to Ford Motor Company!
Patty
