Subject: Craft Show Report

The day went well. Lots & lots of people. It was a strawberry festival , lots of strawberry food , yummy !
I did better last year but happy with what I made.
Did`nt see anything new craft wise. Purses, crochet towels, paintings, lots of antiques, one lady had terriums that were neat.Doll clothes, bird houses, pillows, fleece blankets,
Oh ! The flower pots on a pole , this guy was selling kits ! 15.00 for 1 , it was an iron pole and 4 peices of plexi glass.

Here is a pic of the flower pots.

they had different pictures of ways to decorate them . One was really pretty with pumpkins and flowers and one was done with baskets and used in the bathroom !

Glad the show went well. Was sure wondering how to do that flower pot thing. I saw one once on the puter but it didn't say how. Thanks for that.

Thanks Julie for the Craft Show report! I have thought of making one of the flower pot poles! Hope your weather was not to rainy!
Please Explain what the plexiglass had to do with it? Thanks!

Hi Darlene, i`m not sure what the strips of plexi glass did , there was a hole drilled thru for the pole to go thru so I figured it held the pots in place ?
We did miss the rain, it clouded over a couple times but we were spared it does rain every year !

Hmmm, I have one in my yard. Bought a 4 foot piece of rebar (could have had it longer) and pounded it in the ground. Then slipped the pots on the rebar. I used no plexiglass...wonder what the plexiglass is used for?

We have a Tipsy Pots Planter too and no plexiglass was used to make ours either....just the rebar and the pots.
