I know I'm about a week or 2 late with posting this for you, Julie, since you just had a show at a strawberry festival, but there's always next year.

When my older girls were in school one was given one of these for Christmas. We still put it on the tree every year ! They are quick and easy to make .
It`s really funny about the strawberry fest, you would think people would want something strawberry for a keep sake but I and several crafters have made things and they don`t sell. They come for the cut strawberries and the shortcakes.
Their shortcakes are 1 homemade biscuit, sliced strawberries
and a big heaping scoop of vanilla icecream ! They are soooo good.One lady stopped in my booth with one , said it was her second one and when finished with it she was going after another !
