Subject: Looking for a special doll

Has anyone seen an anatomical doll.
One where you can peal back the skin and see the ribs which can also be folded back
so that you can see the heart and lungs. Similarly the abdomen can be opened to show the organs that lie within.
I have been wanting to make one of these for years but have not been able to find
a pattern anywhere and have not had the time to make my own pattern.
They are usually used as a teaching aid.

Yes, I remember a doll like that. Maybe late 80s-early 90s? I believe a science teacher had designed the pattern & as I recall, it was very expensive. If I run across the old add, I will be sure & let you know. Good luck - I thought it was a great idea, too. (((hugs)))
