Not understanding you. Are you saying the prediction is wrong simply because Marist has never finished last in the Conference? Being fans, I'm sure the only one's in agreement with the standings will be the Manhattan fans since it is what they want to see, and the one's in disagreement will be all those who see their team as better.

Marist loses their three stars, especially Jordan who, by himself, could probably win the crown for three other teams this year if he played for them. Look how the loss of Clark has affected SPC despite the fact they have three pretty good players returning. Look what the loss of Mensah (and to a smaller extent, Jordan), has done to Siena, despite again the presumed better new talent and the return of Haddix. To a lesser degree, Todd of Fairfield (also Maxwell). And consider Iona and, in their case, losing three stars, similar to what will happen with the Foxes.

Just my guesses at this point, barring surprises such as injuries, new stars emerging etc. Unlike maybe Tony, I don't have the devine clarity to guarantee this is how it will pan out.

All I am saying is this: Marist has NEVER finished last in the MAAC...even when they finished in a tie for 1st, they lost alot the following year and didn't finish last. When they were 6-22, they didn't finish last. So, just saying, I doubt even after they lose Jordan, Smith, and Whittington, they will finish last. They still will have Stilphen, Farmer, Benjamin, Carter, McCroskey will play next year. Maybe first to mid pack, but still not enough to claim them dead last.

Being a fan of Marist I would expect as well as respect your belief that Marist will not fall to the bottom next year. Seeing how vital Jordan is to your success, combined with the loss of two complemetary but very valuable players, I can not see how they can possible finish better than 7th or 8th. The others on the squad have shown little with the possible exception of Stilphen, who's success still rests with the help from Jordan. McCroskey, while not the cancer of a DeShawn Williams, does not fit the Brady mode and I am surprised that they would risk what he brings for the one year. I like Brady for what he brings in both teaching and game management. Still, lacking in new talent or returning experience, I don't see the Foxes escaping the PIG round. Of course, much can happen in the course of the next year.
