Subject: Could Manhattan be the Worst Team in the MAAC?

After watching their performance yesterday on MSG, they really stink. A bunch of little guys running around the perimeter tossing bombs all day. Absolutely ZERO talent at forward & center & zero height also.

Got to blame the coach for not bringing in the playersa he needs. Lappas, Fran & Gonzalez would have NEVER put this squad on the floor.

Anyone who makes sweeping generalizations based on one game has a low IQ. Less than 2 weeks earlier #1 seed Siena lost to those same Jaspers. And the parolees from Niagara somehow found a way to lose to Canisius earlier this year. Stinky Cheese stinks!!

SD-

It was just a culmination of a disaterous season for Manhattan. Look, last year this squad won about 10 Conference games. We all heard about "super Freshman". You would think that with everyone coming back, plus some more fresh recruits, the team would improve. Instead, they go backwards without graduating any factors.

Plus, the all-Rookie team was just announced & the Jaspers got shut-out.

The fact is that Rohrssen can't get MACC+ recruits like his predecessors did and other marginal programs are passing him by. After last year, did you think this team would be pushing 20 losses?

You are absolutely right Stinky. Manhattan deserves your comments. Rohrssen has done a terrible job. We know he can't coach, and he has recruited poorly as well. Next year will be no better. Rumors are swirling that a couple of his better players will transfer. If that happens figure 25 losses. He will be gone next year if they don't have a winning record. The administration is not a happy camper.

Transfers? These kids ain't Xavier, Anderson, Lee, Evans, etc... If they can't play/score for Manhattan, where are they gonna go? NJIT, Canisius, Fordham?

Smith and Green have some transfer potential. Primarily to other mid majors. Nobody likes to play for a coach who they don't repect. Also, nobody wants to play on a team that is losing close to 20 games a year.

No "respect" Who you? The last time you spoke to these kids, they mentioned that? And, how did Smith "lose respect" in 8 weeks?
