It was known a while ago that Patsos was not renewing Blaney's contract. Hence Blaney ended up at Fairfield as the #2 assistant and took a significant salary cut. If there is anyone who thinks he left voluntarily to take a demotion and salary cut, then I have a nice tunnel in Baltimore that I'd like to sell them.

Look at the spin from this Loyola fan. What a hoot!

Patsos couldn't do it with his Gerald Brown team and Blaney left for a program on the rise.
