I honestly don't think I've been that bad on the NU boards, be it Voy or Niagarasports.net.......I'm a lot more antagonistic on CC's board because they are (or were) a fierce rival of RIT's in hockey. But even that isn't what it used to be.

If you REALLY want to compare apples to apples, in terms of athletics, MSU vs. Syracuse is a more fair comparison. My relationship with SU is similar to your connection to NU......even though I never attended Syracuse University, I have followed their football, basketball, and lacrosse programs for as long as I can remember. Syracuse won a FB national championship in the late-1950s and MSU won several national championships during that same period. Syracuse won its only national championship in hoops in 2003, three years after MSU won its last national championship. SU has won ten national championships in a second-tier sport (lacrosse) whereas MSU has won three national championships in hockey, also a second-tier sport to most people. Although the two schools are vastly dissimilar academically (SU is a private institution whereas MSU is a large, "blue collar" public school), they're awfully similar in athletics. RIT should be compared not to MSU, but to the likes of Niagara and Canisius. RIT being able to concentrate solely on hockey is off-set by NU and CC being able to offer athletic scholarships. RIT has enjoyed the most amount of success overall, even if they can't seem to beat Niagara head-to-head. Canisius has nothing on RIT, but now have bragging rights over Niagara.

Rob Mccoy is the worst coach in the history of baseball. He wouldn't know talent if it smacked him in his bald head. He needs to never be allowed to coach again, because he is to emotional for the game of baseball... So why should he be a head coach?... Dear Athletic Director fire this guy before he turns a D1 sanctioned sport into a tear 2 funded club sport. He is a joke in the baseball world... Please no one go to play baseball at NU unless you are okay with having a losing season year in and year out.
