.....18% shooting for the game for the gaels!!!! They've got to stop submitting to these bitch slappings for $$$. Isn't that called prostitution? Guess they've got to pay off Ruland's buyout. I hope Guy F. doesn't belch out another "I'd rather lose to Big Time U. by 50 points than ..blah, blah, blah" The league needs to put the kibosh on this crap!

While that game was painful to watch and Iona had no right being on the same floor as a decent Louisville team, Iona will be MUCH improved under Willard. He's a solid recruiter and coach and will turn the program back around which is what this league needs. The league needs a strong Manhattan, Iona, Siena and Marist teams and even a solid Niagra team. The stronger this league can be 3 or 4 teams deep, the more right we'll have playing the Louisville's of the world. The Maac was never a top tier league but at its height was 10-12th in the nation out of abt 36 leagues (top 30th percentile) which is where it belongs year in and year out NOT where it has fallen.

Ruland's history and it'll be so much better when Iona contends in the MAAC again. They can wait another year or so however!
