You Canisius fans have easily taken over that title. It's just that your program has been so insignificant, not many people bother to read your message board to realize. Fortunately, I've had the pleasure and I must say, your fans expectations are hilarious. Apparently, you guys are already contenders this year with the influx of new talent. Siena fans are quite annoying with their circle-jerk mentality, but the few fans you actually do have take the cake on delusional. You guys should be more than content if you win 10 games this year, even though you have the weakest OOC schedule in the MAAC.

Delusional and optimistic are FAR different.
No where on our board will you see talk of a MAAC championship. No where will you see us talking about how our guys got snubbed for conference awards. So I don't see the delusion.
Furthermore, with the MAAC being fairly equal in talent from top to bottom, this year should be similar to the conference's earlier years when basically the entire conference was in the hunt for a championship, and every conference game was a challenge for every team.
As for the talent you speak of, our team had a serious upgrade this season. The athleticism of our players is the best I've seen since the Beilein era in the Mid 90s. If our guys can stay healthy, which frankly could be a concern, then there's a chance we could do some great things.
We're not saying we're going to win MAACs, we ARE saying, don't be too terribly shocked if you see Canisius on Sunday of the MAAC tournament.

Between November and April, anything is possible.

The question asks who is the "most arrogant" and have the least to show for their "perceived dominance of the MAAC."
As Pres. Petey said, there is no talk of a championship or players not getting awards they deserved. You also dont see talk about how Canisius basketball is being held back by being in the MAAC and that we should be competing in bigger conferences.
As far as this season goes, I wouldnt be surprised if Canisius goes far in the MAAC tournament because of the talent and athleticism. But it also wouldnt surprise me if they end up not going far because of all the youth on this team.
