Per Ted Silary's 2006 annual recruiting list:

"Our rating system: 1. big time; 2. midmajor; 3. low Division I; 4. high Division II."

SMALL FORWARDS:
.....Mike Ringgold, Roman, 6-6, owns baseline/near wing, leaper, strong hands, must improve range, rating 3;"

Which doesn't exaclty fit with your post whether it is accurate or not. Top 64 prep means he is a high mid-major or major conference player and he chose RIDER over an A10 program.

The Silary ranking were 2006 Philly Seniors, of which Ringgold was one. He prepped and had a year to work on his stuff, he may have improved. I'm pro-Philadephia kids so i'm not knocking him.

That's fine but I'll stick to Austin's ranking that in my mind directly correlates to his recruiting interest and hoopscoop ranking, which btw, is 74 and not 64.
