Subject: God bless GuyF and the Iona fans!

If they can see a "bright side" to this season, then I say more power to them.

I want them to enjoy Iona's season as much as I am (and God knows that's a lot!) I think the recent heartbreaking losses are an especially nice touch.

Of course there is a bright side and anyone who refuses to see it isn't a real fan. Enjoy the schadenfreude while you can.

sure next year they might win 5, then the following year maybe 10, no crown is headed to New Rochelle anytime soon, if you can't see that then your not a real fan.

So if it's wins that you should root for and not people I should switch to Duke? The young Gaels are steadily improving and there is no quit in the team and that is a bright side.

Actually, that may be the dark side. There are probably half a dozen guys on the squad that oughta quit, starting with John "Pizza and D&D" Kelly. I can't believe anyone ever touted that stiff.
