It's time for the league to stand up and take notice of my team. Despite their record, they fought for me all year. They were in the trenches, battling and fighting and I'm damn proud they play for me. I have a way of putting the fight back in kids and that's just what I did with this happless group of non-qualifiers. With the the exception of our ESL athlete of the year, Alejo Rodriguez, we are a patchwork quilt of other teams left-overs, non-qual's and juvie hall rejects. The recruiting plan was clear - get as much junk in a room as was humanly possible, get a few guys who could speak english, a few who could pass a middle school photography class and make a run at immortality. We DID IT !!

Now back to what's really important.... I should be coaching at Seton Hall not that hispanic guy. They made a big mistake when they hired a minority but that's another story.

IN closing, you all should know that if I had my druthers it would've been me and Guy kissing on that Bud commercial on the superbowl last night but say la vie.
