Actually, the crime rate was already going down before Rudy came into office, mostly due to the fact that his predecessor increased the number of policemen on the streets. This reduction in crime was a nationwide phenomena (go check out the book Freakonomics for more info about this), not a Giuliani-specific miracle.

Oh, and Giuliani can thank the booming 90's and the federal surplus (thanks, Bill!) for his economic good fortune. Can you name one major policy Rudy put into place that resulted in the bright economy?

By the way, there's no reason to mention any of the Democrats. As I mentioned in my post, Giuliani's problem is in the nomination process. The right won't back him and he won't get the Republican nomination.

Interesting that this post insinuates that Obama has no leadership experience. He's been in government as long as Giuliani. Giuliani led NYC. Obama leads half of the STATE of Illinois.

Obama has only two years experience and has done nothing other than make fact empty, feel good speeches. Reminds us all of one other incompetent, unknown fool; the globe trotting, blame America first imbecile, Jimmy Carter. Billy would have made a better President.
