Jordan was the BEST player at MARIST. I never compared the two's pro prospects. You're right I didn't watch Smits but Jordan is an all-time player. He is 6'2...Smits was a 7 footer for Marist.

Jordan is the best at Marist. Period.

Why don't you just shut the fuck up and go away. You're a rambling idiot. Go make love to your Kenny doll.

a) You didn't watch Smits (and probably know next to nothing about his college career)

b) One is a 6'2" point guard and the other is a 7'0" center.

Wondering if you can show the logic behind your crowning, I suspect there's quite a few people out there that would challenge it.

Saying "Period." does about as much for you as it does for GuyF.

Smits was the best in Marist history. He carried his team, that had no real history of success, to 2 NCAA's tournaments and a preseason top 30 ranking.

He was a once in a lifetime player at the mid major level.

Jordan is a great MAAC player but there are legitimate arguments that he didn't even have the best year in the MAAC this year. (Fisher certainly had a great year as did Thompson and Brown) Yes, he makes his teams better; yes, he deserves all the hype this year, but he doesn't come close to what Smits meant to the program.

I think, although I must admit I have doubts as to what the hell that expression means.

to try and translate what the tool from JCA has to say. Jordan is a great MAAC player that deserves the attention he is receiving, but imo isn't any better than Flores or Mendez off recent MAAC teams. I don't think he is all that much better than Kennedy was for the Red Foxes.

Kennedy - 1007 career points (9.1 for his career)
Jordan - 1486 career points (13.2 and counting)

Kennedy - 391 career rebounds
Jordan - 540 career rebounds (and counting)

Kennedy - 670 career assists
Jordan - 784 career assists (keep counting)

Jordan to date has played in 2 more games than Kennedy. Kennedy was a career 40.7 shooter, Jordan 39.1 and still going. Kennedy was 123-353 from 3 (34.8), Jordan 149-448 (33.3). Jordan is the better free-throw shooter as hard as that is to believe - 67.9 for Kennedy, 69.7 for Jordan. Only thing HUGE Kennedy has over Jordan is steals 212-154.

Point? Jordan is better than Kennedy was.
