He was born in Hawaii.
His father was from Kenya and a Muslim.
His mother was from Midwest and an Atheist
They divorced when he was very young
She remarried another Muslim who was from Indonesia
They moved there and he was sent to MUSLIM schools!
As did change to Christan schools so that people would not say he was muslim.
His wife is a lawyer in Chicago for helping Afro Americans. Now I see nothing wrong with this..I do have a problem with a photo of her in the Lowell Sun. She did not wave nor give thumbs up when her husband won a state during primary. She raised her arm and her hand was in a fist. When I grew up in the 60-70's black militants would do this showing black power.....
