Richardson only overturned Chartrand's decision because of the latest publicity. They want us to think Richardson is actually doing his job and not Chartrand running the department. Isn't it strange that Chartrand was coming back from vacation last week and was told to go back on vacation. Apparently, Richardson can only stand up to Chartrand when Chartrand is away. If Richardson isn't afraid of Chartrand why hasn't he done something about Chartrand storing the drugs in an unapproved, unsecured area? I know Panas was Chief at the time of the incident but Richardson has been Chief for the last three years and he took over the investigation and everything that goes with it. There have never been any punishments for the individual in charge of the drugs or the one who put them outside. (Both being Chartrand) Instead of discipline he was promoted.
