Subject: Guess who are parents

Well first congratulations to Dennis and Sandy for raising 2 healthy flyers (i got Slyder from Sandy and Layla from Dennis last year around June)

After all my worries and assumtions it turned out that Layla was in fact pregnent.

She hadn't come out of her nest for about 2 solid weeks (not while i was awake at least) and since they both enjoy sleeping in Crown Royal bags rather than boxes it was hard to take a peek inside to see what was keeping her in there.

So last night she had her little head poking out, so i gave her a pecan, she grabbed it and ran over to her wheel, i figured this would be a great time to see whats going on, when she grabbed onto the bars here nipples were much bigger then i have ever seen, so i tilted the bag to shine some light into it, sure enough there was a little pink baby in there, it was too brief to tell if there was more tha one or not. needless to say Layla came running over when she saw me. Hopefully she will be a good mommy squirrel.
