If she allows you to take them out for extended periods,
let her do the feeding. They wean at eight weeks. If
she keeps allowing you to take them out I would leave
them with her to 7-8 weeks old. You could offer them
Esbilac when out to see if they are interested in it.
Not too many mommas let anyone mess with the babies,
you are lucky.
