I do not have a DVD recorder, but will be getting one soon I hope, and like Dennis said they are very reasonable for your PC. A stand alone recorder to use from a tv source is a little more. Some time ago I sent Joan a VHS tape, and she had it converted to DVD. My VHS recorder is about to die. It plays fine but in the record mode it seems to have problems. I need to purchase a DVD recorder, but I want that new TV first, any way when I am able to get that DVD recorder and you get a DVD player I will gladly send you a copy. Soon I will get out the camcorder and make a new tape.
