I agree...I remember reading about them euthenizing something like 150 parrots.
Their goal is to have no animals in captivity and no food animals.
If they had their way,all domesticated animals would be released into the wild to fend for themselves...Think what a mess that would be...Packs of dogs running free and even more cats out there slaughtering everything they can...Ferrets out there,domesticated birds slowly starving to death (those that are not picked off by native critters and cats.)Rats,mice,g pigs,etc left at the mercy of the elements and don't have a clue about surviving in the wild...
It would be a real tragity.
I have a very low opinion of PETA...They have over a million dollars in their coffers...Got to wonder what all that change is *really* spent on...
