Subject: Legality of owning a flyer?

I have been told that flying squirrels are illegal to own in CT. I cannot find any information supporting the validity of this. I know that we are allowed to own gliders. I cannot understand why MA is allowed to own flyers but not gliders and CT would be allowed to own gliders but not flyers. Does anyone know where I can find out if they are legal pets to have in CT? Thanks!!!
