I’m looking for a good recommendation for a text-to-speech reader.

I know there are several to choose from, but I’m not really interested in loading my pc up with a bunch of apps and doing the trial and error myself if I don’t need to. Ahahahahaha!

Why did you choose the reader you are using?

What is important to you about the reader you are using?

Are some better than others?

Should I select a Pro one or a Free one?

I think one that has a good rhythm and word accuracy would be important to me???

BTW, I am new to this group and was just recently tested for dyslexia. I PASSED!

This is a good text-to-speech reader you can try.
NaturalReader this is a free version that you can buy a never version of the same thing when more features as if what you're looking for this version was recommended to me the first price. I have had no problems with it I only use the free version easy use it is the main thing.
There's another version called text allowed that is good version as well you have to pay for this though.
I am not sure on your question if you are looking for a version for a computer or a version for a tablet/iPad these versions offer computers only.
I do use one for a touch is called a web reader it's quite good if you want to read text downside to it you do have to be connected to the web free to work
is another at app you can use called speak it if you copy and paste something into this app it will then read it back to you.
Hope you find this useful.

Thanks, Malcolm! Your recommendation is very helpful.

I'll give http://www.naturalreaders.com/index.htm a shot.

I'm looking for a reader for my laptop (PC) for home, and my workstation (pc) at work.
