I have a nine year old son, who I suspected was dyslexia for several years. He has some of the same symptoms you describe. He also loses his place reading, poor comprehension, difficulty in Math, horrible spelling and problems verbalizing stories he is telling. I had him tested last year after much research. The public school system where I am does not recognize dyslexia nor will they diagnose it. I had him tested at a psychologists office and our insurance did cover it, however insurance does not cover assistance for it even though it is considered a medical diagnosis. This has been a very difficult road as a Mom, however, do not give up. If you think your child may be dyslexic you must be persistant. I hope this was helpful.
