Assuming you are speaking of Oregon USA you should have testing available in the school district. The school psychologist and the special education teacher can test for learning dysabilities. In the US it is not called dyslexia in the schools. They now call it a Specific Learning Disability. Once testing is done an IEP (Individual educational plan) can be developed for the student.
