try finding an Irlen Diagnostician in your area. You can look up the website www.irlen.com and the Australian Association of Irlen Consultants.... www.aaic.org.au

the same problem is experienced by teachers in Australia, but the NSW Government has just passed a Bill that recognises children with dyslexia as among those requiring special education teacher support... a great win for those children!!

I would like to ask Dr. Brien where one get tested for Irlen syndrome. After reading the post I checked Irlen syndrome out and I understand why I have problems. I do not like bright lights and I have difficulties judging the speed of approaching traffic as well as having difficulties catching a ball. Thank-you

Joan
