I struggeled through high school and college. I had a terrible time with studying for exams and doing reading assignments in English and history. I majored in nursing...can you imagine? Here I was with no math inclination and I was taking biology, microbiology, English, in-organic chemistry, including labs-all in one semester. Somehow, I finished with a degree. In grad school, I came up with the idea of tape recording my text book assignments and playing back before an exam-I made all A's and B's. I also have used color-coding in note-taking. Hang in there. You will be a success story. Talk with a college counselor-quickly PS.I was just diagnosed with dyslexia LAST WEEK!age 59 (never too late).
