I have a seamaster sailer 19 with a Plastimo 401 (I think) roller reefing system. It all spins quite happily on its own, but when the halyard bearing is hoisted to the top, the halyard wraps itself around the bearing. I've spent Ł54 on a new bearing assembly, not fitted yet, as the old one feels as free
