Hi to everyone,

I have just acquired my first boat, a 1974 Seamaster 25 with twin 4108 perkins engines. It's moored in Plymouth and i need to sail it to Limerick in Ireland. I have 20 years small boat experience offshore ( no rocks or coastline to hit ) but no coastal cruising experience. I am a navigator on a survey boat and have good sea survival training ( i hope i won't need it!! ). I plan a solo voyage, daytime only, in june.
Any advice would be appreciated, hints, tips or otherwise.
What range will it have, how fast will it go and am i insane??

Cheers

Chris Stubley
