Dear All,

I am attempting to remove the starter motor from the Perkins 4 107 fitted to my Seamaster 27. Has anyone else attempted this procedure? I ask as I have undone the two locking bolts for the starter motor, however, the starter motor won't come free? Can anyone please confirm that there are just two mounting bolts for the starter motor, I suspect that the starter motor has not been off the engine for 30+ years.

Thanks in advance,
