Hello Ray.

We have an eber type D1LC heater on our Seamaster 30 which was fitted before we got the boat. We have 2off 110ah domestic batteries and have not had a problem with battery drain unless we have not done enough cruising to keep the battery up. It is voltage senseing, if the voltage is low the light in the control will flash to tell you and it won't work. Ours is mounted in the step locker behind the helm seat. It is very good we have a duct out to the back cabin which we needed to partly blank off (gets like a sauna otherwise) and a long duct round the engine bay (single engine)coming out behind the stairs down from the cockpit. Ours is very economical in use around 1/2 ltr an hour by my reconing.

As far as installing it and obtaining spares and missing parts goes, their website has all the information to download.

Hope all goes well with your installation

Regards.

Bob
