Subject: Leaking Seamaster 23 fuel tank

My Seamaster 23 motor cruiser diesel fuel tank has developed a weeping leak at the base of the tank.I think its corroding from the inside out.I have removed the tank and inspected the underside and does appear to seep through the bottom in a very slow drip.I have removed the contents and opened the access port to see inside but because of the baffles and the resticted size of the access port(fist size) I can't see where the leak is originating from.My dilemma is to replace with a new tank (plastic or stainless steel)or try to repair with Frost tank sealer but am worried because the resticted access will not guarantee success with the rust removal, cleaning, etch priming, drying and correct application of the sealer ect.Has anyone got any advice on repairing or replacing the said item.Your solutions will be greatly appreciated.
