I have a Seamaster 29, which is big sister to 815, so I guess the locker is similar - a shallow almost triangular locker.

Sea Holly was originally fitted with a 35lb Clyde anchor, which was a Danforth type. I guess that the 815 would have been fited with something around 20 - 25lbs.

I dont particularly like danforths, so when we changed we bought a 10 kg Kobra, sold by Plastimo. The stock folds so we just needed a small modification to the locker to get it to fit.

You could always leave the anchor on the bow roller if you wanted a bruce or plough type. The anchor is always handy in a emergency then.

A danforth type should suit the east coast fine, they work well in mud.
