Subject: Sailer 23 DROP KEEL HOUSEING

Hi I keep my sailer on a mud mooring that dries out. I noticed recently that as it grounds, water is pushed up through the drop keel cable hole. I assume this is due to the mud being pushed into the keel housing and creating pressure. Has any body else experienced this and if so is there a simple solution eg a seal to put around the cable ??
