Does anyone in the club have any knowledge of a home completed 925 (called a 9,15 on the spec sheet) built in 1981. The pictures appear to show a standard hull/deck etc. although woodwork (handrails etc) on deck is non standard. The windows are fitted externally, not as per the factory boats which were mounted in frames. The mast is not as Seamaster fitted, although this may be a later change. The engine is a Volvo MD7A which was the standard fit at the time. The interior has been fitted out, acording to the spec sheet, as a four berth and not seven as the 925.
Did Seamaster sell off uncompleted boats at the end of business in 1981?
The boat is for sale in NE Scotland and a friend is interested in it having seen my own 925 'Smithereen'.
