When i bought my seamaster 30 the front emergency ( lift out ) hatch was leaking. I tried to fix it myself with all the various silicon's etc etc.As a result of the leaking water, all the timbers in the vberth cabin was rotten and we could not sleep in the cabin. So i decided to get a complete re-fit and the offending window hatch reconditioned by the professionals. The re-fit was great but the window is still leaking. Obviously i brought it back to the yard as it was still under warranty. They striped it down and resealed it etc etc but the window is still leaking. It would have been cheaper i'm sure to have bought a new front hatch in the first place. I dont mind to seal the emergency hatch at this stage in order to stop the leak.Or should i look at buying a new hatch. Can you recommend somewhere to buy a front hatch ? Any advice welcome.
Rory
